The NWS forecast for Metone says up to an half inch of snow possible, especially in the higher elevations. And for what it is worth, the county just north of Mentone is under a winter storm watch.

Waiting for Skicop's report and pics. Will be heading up to THE CLOUDMONT at about 8am. It may not be a great hill, but atleast it's a hill. 8)

Unfortunately, it was raining when I got off work today and I didn't want to waste a trip. Better luck next time.

Got up this morning and all it has done is rain at THE CLOUDMONT all night, so I too have postponed my trip. I will be there tomorrow, Sunday for a day of fun. Come on snow, no more rain.

I too stayed at home. This is another Bama snow bust. I will be at Ober next weekend to ski with the great TeleDave. But don't for me to ski with broken skis like he does!

When are you and Dave planning on being at Ober?

Me and my wife are heading up to Gatlinburg next Friday morning. I talked with Dave the other night and he said that he would more than likely meet me on Saturday morning. That is the plans right now. I hope that the weather will not get as warm as predicted next week. I hate skiing in T-Shirts.

Spoke with UABskibum, he and the misses are at the 'mont tonight. Looking for a good report because I'm definitly headed up in the morning. They should be getting a few inches of natural to add to their base.

I'm mulling over the idea of going to Ober next Saturday myself. If I get my skis back from Atomic, it's a definate yes. Ober Mini_Summit in the making, epic.
