Since I was staying the night before our Beech get-together, I decided to ride Sugar night session with dmkahlan and his girlfriend. Got rockstar parking, waited for dm to show and got our lifties, and headed up to the Yellow lift. Two of the best things I noticed were they were blowing from the top to about 3/4 ways down, and the other was they had the lift speed turned up. It only took approximately 1/2 the normal time to get to the top. Snow was looking quite fast and fun, and it certainly didn't dissapoint. We lapped Northridge/Switchback/Upper&Lower FlyingMile/Big Red/Big Birch for the whole time except for a few runs on Easy Street with Dm's girl. I found the lift line was not roped off and it was $$ with a small huck and bootdeep pow. Lines were basically non-existant except for a couple times with about a two minute wait. It was a great night with friends and a bunch of runs. I am always suprised that more people don't get out to ski/ride the night session more often. On most weekends, you can get in more runs at night than you can the whole day session and it's usually half the price. Give it a try some time.
Thanks for looking and until my next adventure,
Troy

Jam, It was in the liftline of the EasyStreet lift. I was riding up the lift, looked down, couldn't believe my eyes, and decided to plan my line. When I entered I was still abit skeptical that it would be serious crust, but amazed at how fun it was. I was the third and fourth set of lines to be layed down in there, I guess it was because it's on EasyStreet.

nice. thats why i like the birch line. its usually close to last to be tracked out, and it has a nice little downhill stretch. its the alta of sugar mountain, though. Never seen someone get it on a board because of the road you have to cross halfway down
