So far this has not been impressive. Looks like the bulk of the moisture went south and east of us. Maybe the wrap around later will be heavier than predicted?

If you go by how brad from NBC6 forecasted it, its a bust, considering he said yesterday we would get 6 or more inches of snow down here in the foothills.

if you go by any other meteorologist from the Charlotte stations, it wasnt too much of abust, or at least for us down here in the foothills, they all said 1-2 inchs, or 2-4 inches. Theres about a half inch, to an inch out here right now. and thats being really considerate.

Couldn't have been a bigger bust than it was here. We were under a heavy snow warning last night with 3-6 inches of snow expected. And we got NOTHING. Not even a coating. But if you drive just about 10 min. down the street from where I live they got about 2 inches. And if you drive maybe 20 minutes from my house to the north. They got 5 inches, in the same county I live in. Very weird.

Bust--I've decided weatherforecasters are as bad as lawyers and used car salesmen. Nothing but hype to sell crapola.

Check out the doppler radar on weather.com and you can see it has wrapped around us, and only a small tail remains. Unless a major pressure system in the extreme southeast pushes it against the western slopes, it's a nothing.

We cancelled a trip to Spartanburg for our volleyball teams this a.m. based on this crap.

But, headed to the hill after while.

The white powder is not known for the Johnson City, TN area. Only on the state line of NC and TN. How much were they calling for in JC? When I read this I thought I had poped open a can of Salsa. JOHNSON CITY???? The so called Storm has so far been a disapointment everywhere. Is anyone elses DUD detector going off???
