The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

The guns were kinda rough out there today, but the snow was pretty decent. It was posted online that snowmaking was on, and just looking at the slopes from the ticket booth was a good indication of what the day was gonna be like.

I know it sucks, but it's crucial the first few weeks of the season to go all out with the snowmaking so the entire mountain can be open by around Christmas. I heard a lot of people complaining about the guns today, but those people seemed like the typical tourist who thinks every day should be powder and sunshine.

$60 is a tad high for what is open.

The guns and conditions and what not should have been expected, but 60 bucks...yikes. I didn't know they were charging full price.

I thought it was pretty decent today. Blowers were only a real issue on lower shawnee and the coverage was pretty decent every wear i saw. I can't argue with snowmaking cause it's gotta happen to stay open. I thought beech did a great job and I didn't have to wait more than a min or two tops for the lift, so that's a plus.
