I'm heading to Utah a month from now and I was wondering where you Utah summit folks stayed or where you could get a good deal on a place to stay.

LaQuinta.com -Midvale, UT is where we stayed. Breakfast, pool, jacuzzi. Approx $40./night based on weekly rate.

Another new nice place is Intown Suites http://intownsuites.com/detail_hotel.asp?id=3974

with micro, fridge, and stove. So you can eat in the room. No Breakfast provided, pool or jacuzzi. The price is right, 169/week + txs.

I did not go with the group from SkiNC to Utah but we went the week after. My family of 4 stayed at the Comfort Suites in Sandy for $75.00 a night. If you check around you can find cheaper places but the Comfort Suites worked well for us because it has a little sitting area where we could dump all of you stuff and not be so jammed in the room.

Don't buy your tickets at the resorts. You can buy them everywhere (CVS, ski shops) for less.

Can someone tell me a little more about the SuperPass? Were you saying that this pass if $50? And that's for 1 day of bus fares and a lift pass?
admin

The daily rack rate at that laquinta (7200 TRAX) is now north of $70 vs. 40 a year ago. I "think" the days inn and best w went up too. I do know last year the days inn dailey was like $38 and I beleive it has the shortest walk to the bus/train.

I beleive the superpass gets you a full day on the bus/train, i.e. you can go into downtown salt lake wit it that night. without a car it's about the best you'll do on lift tickets to BCC/LCC.

Sadly, I think the days of $150 airfare $40 hotel room $45 superpass are over....

Hmmm, heading to Utah in mid-March?

Are you thinking the Tarholes are going to end up @ that regional or something?
