Balkey scoping it out:

Moi, snow starting to get heavy at this point:

Balkey again:

That whole thing is a mini golf playground:

This pic of davidski was my favorite of the weekend, looking down into the valley makes it feel like big-mountain terrain in the middle of NC:

Sadly enough, the biggest thing I've hit this year- my form in the air has gone to pot. Also, huck to flat w/ crust under a few inches of fluff ended as poorly as expected :D

Can't believe it had enough coverage to ski two years in a row- the snow was certainly not as good as last year, major dust on crust in a lot of spots, but was still pretty tremendous skiing for NC.

Video finally online - shows 3 turns down, edited down - but I swear I didn't take any dumps, I for sure would've kept those in the video.

And yes... I'm a terrible snowboarder and need to get the heck off my heel side. I'll learn! I'm writing it off to only being my 4th time.

Thanks again everyone, it was a blast.

Yesterday was a great time with some great peeps. We should all give a BIG thanks to Talia and her staff for putting up with us and doing 40+ transactions instead of 1. Thanks girl, You Rock! Made quite a few runs in the morning before the crowds showed (12:00pm) and it was off to the lot for the festivities. As 2slik and others had alluded to, BMPD made an appearance in their search for a "Drunken Chicken". Something just didn't feel right with them stopping by and TD not there to run interference. After getting some food and quite a few beers, made only a couple more runs as the weekend madness was upon us with the temps in the low 50's. I decided to go back to the car, clean up, say my goodbyes, and head home around 4pm. Hopefully I will be able to get some funds together and make it out to the Shoe' Summit.
