The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Just a few random thoughts:

1) This somehow looks really familiar.

2) In my only on snow confrontation with Sugar Mtn patrollers they were okay. Told me they could take my ticket but they were gonna cut me some slack and don't do it again.

3) In my experience whenever dealing with any authority figure, most of the time you get what you give. If you are respectful so are they. I'm sure there are exceptions it just hasn't happened to me personally.

4) Every time I have met a group of Sugar Mtn patrollers (they travel in packs, kinda like middle school girls) off the mountain, I couldn't help but think what a bunch of asswipes they were. You'll know they are Sugar Mtn patrollers because they will tell you (and everyone else) at least once every 3 sentences in conversation.

My experiences are generally from a few years back though so things may have changed.

But probably not.

as you say, probably not

I have had WV patrollers, NOT SS, actually steer me to closed areas under the right circumstances and definitely due to the right attitude

When I poach any lift line (esp. at sugar in that picture above) I did so knowing and fully understanding I would lose my liftie for the day, that's why that was done at 3:45
