The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

What is faux meatloaf? I don't even like real meatloaf...I can't imagine the faux version being better.

Well then you've never eaten any Barkleydog special meatless meatloaf. It's made with TVP (texturized vegetable protein) instead of hamburger. I use a commercial brand "Boca crumbles" which looks alot like ground beef and has the same mouth feel. Toss in an extra egg and a dash of canola oil and the texture is identical to meaty meatloaf. It's not as rich tasting as with meat but I put a special tomato, brown sugar, cinnamon sauce on it which makes it really good for sandwhiches.

What would you expect from a wool wearing, tele skiing, patchouli smelling, contra dancing, old vegetarian? ....well, not so much these days but I do still telemark ski and I had turkey last Thanksgiving. We do mellow with the years.

Damn, Josh. You gotta quit sounding like a hippie. No wonder the women balk.
