The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Looks like it's gonna be a busy day at Cat

It was pretty much nuclear winter all day

I agree - a couple of times though Upper O it was just picking my way between the fallen ones. Alley Cat was pretty nice and not busy at all. Lower O got kinda jamed up a couple of times. I stayed 'til a little after 11; decided it was time to go when I was very narrowly missed by two different boarders on the same run while I was trying to make my way through the momentary carnage on Lower O. The lift lines really never got all that long but the ticket line was still out the door and around nearly to the road when I left.

Board must have been busy today - I've tried to get on to post a few picts a couple of times but it timed out.

The lift waits were not bad at all. With that said Ipacked up and left around 1230 but got plenty of good runs in while I was there. The snow wass great and as you can see from the pics the only negative was the blowers all day. Can't blame them for making snow though, with the winter we have had the y got to get while they can right now.

We hit Cat for just a couple of hours this morning. I wasn't sure what to expect since it's been so warm, but conditions were actually pretty good. Snow was pretty soft and no icy spots. Noticed of couple of places on Rock Island that will probably be showing dirt if we get any of the rain that's forcast. A pair of ditches running across the Rock Island/Alley Cat/ Lower O merge 'bout tossed me the first time I hit 'em fast. Got to say Hi to ClemsonKeri and the Mr. at the top of Upper O. Upper O had some nice bumps and no ice so it was lots of fun.
