The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

I already posted a thread in the OT forum about the horrible service in restaurants. Other than that I had a great trip. Went down there with my girlfriends family. We had made plans with a model to do a beach bridal session at 6am in the morning, the model ended up flaking on us at the last minute, didnt really matter though as I planned to get up anyway to take photos. To me there is not a lot to do photographically after 7am so the rest of the day was spent swimming or doing other stuff like shopping.

Over priced barely better than a county fair amusement park.

Maybe a few more photos to come. For our next trip I think I might try contacting our hotel ahead of time and seeing if they will barter photography for a motel room.

I saw this TR and expected to fully see mullets, biker chicks with little clothing, and somebody passed out drunk.

The term "Myrtle Beach drunk" was invented for a reason.

Here are three photos from my trip over the weekend. I got sick an hour or so after getting there and it only worsened over the trip. On our last morning there I was unable to sleep and went out at sunrise and walked around on the beach for a couple hours.

I got the flu, which helped me get pneumonia a few days later.

Those are really nice. I will be at Garden City next week but my beach pics will not be nearly as good.

Heading to Myrtle for first visit eva. Q? Is there any surf at Myrtle Beach, Hurricane Bill is suppose to track nicely into the Atlantic by weeks end, not sure if I should bother getting the surf boards out of storage.
