The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Visited AFM tonight, they do concert there on Friday evenings. Really nice night to be outside...







































Edit: and by "visit" I really mean "walked 5 minutes". We can see it from our apt building.

Dude, those are some bad-*** shots. I'd like to see a "little" bit more contrast in some of them, but I really like the framing and perspectives.

What's wrong with DC, you're well within driving distance of a few places to go ride that aren't to bad. More natural snow in those hills then what we get to play on in the deep southeast.

EC'er, you should get yourself a 50mm prime lens and see how you like it. I got one a couple weeks ago and the DOF is pretty sweet. I don't know how much I'll use it day-to-day, but for $70 it can't be beat. Around DC, I bet you could take some pretty cool city shots.

I've got a 50 mm prime, I just didnt have it with me last night :)



What I REALLY want is a wide angle lens. I could have gotten some great shots with one of those...
