The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.
We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Snowflex is as good as advertised!!!!

From what I understand snowflex is different than the teflon whatever they had there. Maybe you're right though. I have never been on either.

Didn't Ober have some sort of bead thing that the beads would break off if you tried to stop? Think they still use that stuff on some of the unloading ramps.

Friendly rope-tow advice: Take the handle a little early and put it behind the small of your back instead. This way you are using your legs to keep balanced and not your arms. Works for me but I partake in the darkside, and I don't know if this works better for skiers.
This method can also eat through some gloves.

All the snowboarders were doing that with it but they didn't recommend that for skiers. I just need to ditch the ski poles somehow so I can get a firmer grip on it with both my hands next time I go.
