Thats the plan.
Any suggestions? I have always had my eye on a pair of Columbia boots that I usually see at various shoe stores, though I always have a hard time trying to find a pair of 14's. The one time I found one I talked myself out of it.

I have Soloman Exit GTX low cut, but they also make an over ankle boot. These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wear them almost every day.

U should try upper and lower creek falls. It's close to south
mountain. Just head up 181 n when u pass the bark house
parking lot on the right. Lots of waterfalls and cascading water.
Beutiful hiking!!
