The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

The question isn't about the price. Yeah, paying 64 bucks for a lift ticket on the slowest lift in America sucks, but the problem is with the advertising. I'm pretty sure nobody here can justify doubling the price without any notice. I wouldn't be surprised if they had planned it all along knowing people would be showing up for Sugarfest and more than likely would pay it anyways once they got there. What Sugar did was wrong in any light. They should be complained to by EVERYONE who wnet and was hoodwinked.
Coming from a family in State government, The logical step would be to get the states attorney General # , address and give them a little call. Give Gunther a call and tell him what you did/ will do. Im sure he wont care.
When a class action lawsuit comes down from all those people Saturday and 1 lawyer who has the free time, they might think about it then. But maybee not.

Gunther is one of the most unfriendly people you could ever be around, it's no shock that people get treated like crap there. I suck it up and go there once a year when conditions are really good, but I hate giving that a-hole any business.

From the Ski Sugar website....*CHILD: Ages 5 through 11. Upon approval children 4 and under qualify for a free slope/lift pass (does NOT include rental equipment and lessons), obtained only in the administration office. The child must be present and accompanied by a ticketed adult or have a lesson voucher.
