The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

I know, I know, no good without pictures, but it was just too darn cold too pull off the gloves for pics!!!!

Anyway, the conditions today at Cat were as good as I've seen them since maybe '04 or '05, when they had a good snowstorm and the meadow was open. Light and fluffy powder everywhere on the mountain and not bad crowds either. No wait at the double and the lower quad. Sooo nice!!! The only downer was my son's girlfriend having to be carried down by ski patrol on the litter after a bad fall on her hip. :( Oh yeah, and the morning temps were pretty brutal, but it warmed up nicely...better than I expected given the forecast. I always look around for signs of SkiNC stickers on helmets, but didn't find any today. All in all, just a great day at the Cat!!!

+1 for Cat today. I turned my camera on when I parked and got the battery dead message. Oh well, more time skiing... as you mentioned these are the best conditions in the last 5 years.

Whats up w/ these Sunday injuries at Cat? We had a girl in our group that broke her wrist last Sunday there too. It totally ruined our weekend. I felt so bad for her. Hope all turns out well for the girl in your group.
