The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Great contribution, also, Bama. Too bad we all cant be like 'someone else' on this site that is an expert in skiing, cars, skis, bikes, ski boots, working, ski poles, dogs, ski conditions, geographical intelligence, skiing techniques, hiking, ski helments, photography, ski straps, marriage, ski goggles, and *****. I would be satisfied being only ankle deep.

For what it is worth, I'm jealous of Mt. Madison's snowmaking ability. If I had that we would be skiing trees in Alabama. I have the perfect property, ponds at the bottom for snowmaking, and a north facing hill, with trees. In the upcoming years, I will be seeing the reality of skiing in those trees.

I'm thinking about upgrading to their next level machine next season. They say it makes twice as much snow. I have to check and see if you need a larger air compressor and pressure washer with it. Would be alot of fun to have both of them running at the same time.
