The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Thanks, Marzski.! Nice to see the VA resorts having good seasons. I hope the pics . will attract others to visit and increased skier visits "should " mean increased improvements at our local resorts every year . Gotta hit up the first place I ever skied WTG and snowboarded (mass) at least once or twice a year.I don't consider it a highjack Murphy don't sweat it .

Of course, if too many people check out the VA areas, that will backfire on us.
I'm hoping that the VA season lasts into mid-March. I get back from Tahoe on March 6. But if I can get in one more weekend locally, going to WTG for late season rates would be nice. Especially now that the flex ticket means less of a push to arrive for first chair.

2023-24: Wolf Creek in Dec, Massanutten in Jan, Feb; GT, Big Sky; Crested Butte; Alta/Snowbird in April.

yeah it's an odd phenomenon. for some reason wintergreen chooses to run their season passes sunday afternoon-friday night with blackouts all day sat and sun morning. anyone with a pass wanting to hit the slopes on the weekend will obviously head up sunday afternoon
