I don't know anything about the CRJ's, but if you get another pair of powder skis make sure they're rockered.

I demoed them at WP and got to a pretty involved tutorial about them and how to ski them from CR himself, I didn't even really know who he was just that he was an incredibly nice guy and passionate about what he had done with his design. And not surprisingly he was 100% right; I could have skiied them in different ways and different conditions all day -- it really made me wish I could ski switch. It was a hell of an experience

They sound just like all the other rockered pow skis out there now.... my S7s are the same way, and I've heard the same about the Lhasa Pows, the Billy Goats (ON3P), etc. I think my S7s are the most fun ski I've ever been on.

it was unexpected how well they can work on groomers; the trend is definitely not a gimmick

They "work" on groomers.... I wouldn't say that any rockered skis work *well*, however.



Its funny to read people's reviews of certain skis (not specifically you and the CRJ) and see them say how well they do on groomers after praising them in powder. Its like people are afraid to say that their skis are "just OK" on hardpack.



There's an increased probability in this occurring if the reviewer spent more than $500 on their skis, too.

personally I didn't spend any money I just tried them out so my opinion is objective as far as that goes; and rather then saying they just worked well, I should say they were fun as hell on groomers



I tried some other rockered and reverse camber skis that sucked on the groomers, the gotama when I was cruising on a steep blue felt like someone was hitting my boot heel with a bag of rocks





-- the CRJ is exceptional if I have the money I won't hesitate to buy it (I love the MSP too, probably a more prudent choice for around here)

My skis are still crappy from early january. There were tons of rocks. Im gonna go through a couple sticks of p tex once I finish fixing them.

yea honestly, theres a lot of rough stuff under that lift. i kinda tore up my new s3's on only one run down it, really stinks
