Thanks for the great pics. You are really making it hard on me to not get up there this year. I was trying to put back a little cash for a few other things, but with conditions like this, that may have to wait :D

I am curious about you guys favorite lodging options and why at SS since it has been so long since my last visit. I know they have added some more choices over the last ten years.

Dido! I need to find a way to make it up there this year too!

But as far as placed to stay....I have stayed at the Shamrock condos and Mountain crest condos. both are on the north side. Mountain crest is cheaper and smaller. I can't remember the exact cost, but last year we had a group of about 12 in two condos and it was a bit over $100.00 for 3 nights (thurs, fri, sat). We were pretty tight in there but who cares, we had fun none the less.

Unfortunately I don't have a bunch of people to split the cost of a condo with :(

Is it worth it to stay on the Mnt? I just called SS and they have that a great deal. Staying 4 nights (mid week) gets you the $200 gift card. They quoted me a price of 522 for the inn at the base with tax. That package included 3 days of lift tickets. Add in the $200 gift card which is good for just about anything including drinks and that is one sweet deal. I just hope I can make it up the mnt in my Honda accord!

if I opt to stay on mountain, which is always nice, but it would be about 300 more at Mountain Crest or Ridgewood.

Alright it's official and I give in!

After finding the really good deal with the $200 gift card and other discounts that Brookbarrel told me about I am going to SS in the next 2-3 weeks! Just have to nail down the dates with my work schedule which won't be too hard. This is definitely doable now and I can't wait! I may pee my pants with anticipation if you guys post more photos like the ones in this thread

I talked to my friend out west today and most resorts there have not gotten the snow SS has this year :p

That $200 deal is pretty hard to pass up. Next time you go, check the lodging options through VRBO as well ..

Hmm . . . Marz Jr. has Spring Break the first week of April.

It was hard to imagine the pics were WV and not from Tahoe or somewhere else out west. Thanks!
