The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

It's been a couple of years since my work schedule allowed me to attend a summit, much to my dismay. I was shocked to see what it has become in such a short time. There were SkiNC hoodies everywhere. I suppose without Teledave there, we had to represent with quantity rather than quality. I'm sure that several people got introduced to our little community on Saturday.
Big thanks to Mike D. and the rest of his peeps for taking over the coordination of the event and transforming it from a ski party to a ski party for a worthy cause. Save the *******' boobies. I hate that we couldn't stay for the auction, but we had prior commitments. I see that Mellow took up my slack for the remainder of the day. Thanks dude.
The conditions were the best I had ever seen at Beech. They have a huge base and should be good for the remainder of the season. My only complaint was that they had too much "base" under the chairs at the loading station, but at least that made me feel taller. Their grooming seems to have improved greatly as I never once got the impression that I was going to die due to hitting a death cookie the size of a Volvo. Big props to Beech for improving their product GREATLY.
If youve never attended one of these summits, try to make plans to come to one ASAP. No one cares if you can't ski like Bode or spin like Shaun White. Everyone comes to have a good time and meet these faceless personas from a messageboard. You might have a good time too. There is something for everyone at these events. IF you get lucky, you might even get to make a run or two with one of the OG's.
