Great day!Started out with my son Brandon and me,hooking up immediately with Stealthboarder for a few runs.Then we ran into pagamony(Dave)for most of the day and just hung out together and demoed skis and had a good time despite the lift lines .....blah....Snowshoe is probably not going to happen for me,going to Co wed morning bright and early.You couldnt ask for a nicer day saturday.I wish we found the power line..drats...Dave it was good meeting you and skiing all day and all the others I briefly met.Im waiting on the next get together.

The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

Great reports everyone -- nice to live it vicariously -- I am stunned by the lift lines -- I have never seen it that bad (but aside from summits I about never do weekends -- I wonder how many people they actually had?
GA and Pagomony, anyone else too, what skis did you demo? Was anyone but 4FRNT there? and did you try any of their fatter skis like the CRJ?

I hit the single line on the quad all day. I started timing my waits in the afternoon from the time I arrived in line to the time my rear end plopped into the chair. My times after lunch were:

I skied until 4:30 PM. I have no complaints about the line. It was a Saturday in North Carolina with great conditions. It was actually not as bad as I expected. Epic times!!!

Long time viewer, 1st year member, 1st time poster. My wife and I really enjoyed hanging out with you all at The SkiNC Summit @ SkiBeech. Looking forward to using some of the vacation packages that we bought. Wish we could go to the Summit @ Snowshoe but have to go to South Florida that weekend. We'll definately be there for both in 2011.
