I was going to attempt to get some pictures today at Beech Mtn. but the heavy fog made that impossible unless i had a FLIR system(Forward Looking Infrared). A bit of sleet was falling that dusted your goggles a good bit by the time you made it down a run, but overall snow conditions where very good, making the lack of visibility quite a bit easier to deal with. Oddly enough there were some good size death cookies in the middle of the runs which hasn't been typical of Beech this year out of the 21 days i've been there this year they are usually well off to the side or found in parts of the park in powder bowl. Not a single lift line to speak of and overall a good grey day.
