I'm going to post another report with all the great people I met and skiied with this weekend but this post is all about the TREES -- from bad to superlative

Bad trees with useless creek fording at Silver Creek

Do these stripes make me look fat?

Nicer trees -- Snowshoe

FANTASTIC TREES western side

BrookBarrel and a bunch of his buddies led me into this

Brookbarrel's friend Richie (?) and I continued running it

Teledave and MBlacky got in there too

Sunday A.M. I met EastCoaster and we tried it again but the snow had gone bad -- I could barely initiate a turn much leass worry about a picture

I hope next year approachs our conditions this year because I am now officially hooked on southeastern tree skiing

Glad you could get some of the crew out into our spot. Hope you don't mind me adding a few pics to your tree thread.

Here's pulley

And unfortunately a little bit of a timing miss sequence by Pulley of me. Its OK ..At least it shows one of the many fun features our crew was enjoying back there.

Thanks for showing us back in there David. It was pretty sweet, wish I had known about it earlier.

+1

Even though we ran into the worst sun crust I have ever encountered at the bottom, I was able to connect some unbelievable turns in the middle section.

I take it the tree skiing at SS was better on Saturday(I was at TL)then Sunday!Sunday was warm and I was too hungover to even think about skiing the trees!

*Before you ski or ride, familiarize yourself with the Skier Responsibility Code. Please stay on designated terrain at all times. Deep snow may hide hazards and skiing out of bounds is dangerous.* ;)

But, we were on designated trails. There were signs designating them as blue squares and black diamonds, and a few signs warning of features ahead. :D
