The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

the shot between :38 and :45 seconds was $$$. that might be the most powder spray ive ever seen in a se/midatlantic video. looked SO much like a big slash/hack off the top of a wave with tons of spray!

cool thanks carvebeast!. I love the similarities of pow turns and top turns in the surf. I think the tiny tail of the burton malolo allows for more of a fan to be thrown than my 6'-3" thruster ..Hard to take face shots surfing but fun to hose others paddling out or sitting on the shoulder.

where do you surf mostly man? we should meet up for a session some time! i usually ride wb, carolina, or emerald isle area, but i can occasionally be lured to the obx!!

rodanthe mostly. Always up for a session! Stay in touch! (spring surf usually cranks on the outer banks)Water stays a lot cooler later into spring than wb though.

its all good ive got 4/3 rubber and 5 milli boots and gloves so im ready for whatever...i admittedly havent surfed since snowboarding season started this year...usually i get at least a few winter trips but this year i was way too stoked on my snowboarding progression...knocking out a couple more spring park sessions at app and then im hangin it up for the year and ill be ready to roll! i surf solo almost all the time so it would be awesome to have a buddy out there...
