I am sorry that I missed the Summit at Snowshoe this year. My wife and I had planned a trip to Keystone to spend a few days with out the kids. She loves the big mountain groomers and I just love to ski. This is not the backcountry TR I was hoping for, but we still had fun. We flew nonstop to Denver from RDU on Southwest. We were on the mountain by 1:30 pm last Wednesday, had warm temps and soft snow on Thursday, and a fresh inch on Friday morning. I hope you enjoy!

Stayed at KS. We were there for 2.5 days. I really want to go to Beaver Creek. I might hit that up next year. I wanted to go in the trees, but there is no way my wife is going with me. I need to get KneeDeep to meet me up there one day and hike into North Bowl.

Knee Deep,Sorry I diddnt contact you last week while I was out there, the back light in my computer burnt out and I couldnt see the screen with out a flash light and strong glasses. On line is the only way I have to contact you and doing so would have been time consuming to say the least.Im coming back next week to Silverton and other places in that area so I dont think you'll be out that way but Im going to try to make it back around memorial day for a last hoorah if A Basin stays open that late . I hope the low snow fall this year doesn't cause them to shut down early
