I really want a pair of the DPS 112RPs, only problem is the high price tag.
I did hit the ski really hard- it was kind of a blur, but it hit hard enough in that tumble to pop it off; I had to slide down about 50 ft to retrieve it.

I'm kidding, it sucks to hear you got hurt -- you have hit it hard and inspired a lot of good SE skiing this year -- you could still outhike me in your current condition
