The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Wanted to get up there tonight. Wife had a girls night out party and daughter arranged for a friend to come over and spend the night - left me to stay home. I sitting here looking at a message board instead of skiing. Not a good feeling.



Suppose I could go drown my sorrows in coke - have 16 - 12 packs. Snowshoe BOGO - my day is coming.

^Your night sounds like mine. I almost did the same(Ober), but couldn't get out of work in time to get up there. Wife is out w/friends and son with his friends.

I went, great conditions for opening day. Good sized crowd when I left at 8:30.

I just got home from a wrestling tournament. Would have gone skiing if they would freaking open in the mornings. :mad:



So I went kayaking instead. Gorgeous day on the river. :D

Holy Chit. GBurg went off today. As good as I've seen it, whiteout conditions towards the end of the afternoon. Snowed all day, no time for pics. It was that good.





Traffic on the way home though, not so much. 3 hour drive back to Knoxville... Sevierville was a sheet of ice, not so much fun.
