The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Saturday night we drove up and met up with a few SkiNCers at Hurleys...good times (nice to meet and/or see some of you again!)

Then we were off to the campground (Creekwood Farm RV) and settled in for the night:

The TahoeRV did quite nicely and the heater actually made it too warm at one point in the night so we had to turn it down. (Thanks to everyone who gave us tips for car camping!)

The only part that sucked was when I woke up at 2AM having to pee (must have drank one too many hammes) and had to throw on my jacket and boots to make a run for it to the bathrooms (only about ten feet away though).

On to the next morning:

Woke up around 6:45, got clothes on, and hit the road to Cat. By 7:30 we were in Rockstar Parking and ready to go.

It was glorious for the first 2 hours or so and then the crowds started picking up. We retired around 11:00 to the parking lot for some tailgating with the crew. Many hammes and some darn good chicken (thanks bopp!) were had.

Now on to the pics:

Overall, it was an awesome time! Look forward to doing it again sometime this season (sooner rather than later!)

Sweet day was had. The back country exhabition was the highlight of the afternoon, and all the sweet early runs the highlight of the AM. Of course Chef Bopp made the noon hour.

It was a fun day. I really enjoyed meeting everybody, although some I have met before. I enjoyed talking with both of you. Its too bad you don't live closer. Night sessions at cat the last few days have been great loved every minute of it. Well let us know what you next event will be.

Thanks again Keri for letting my gf borrow one of your spare set of goggles. I'm guess it was still there when you guys got back to your truck.

Hopefully I'll do a better job next time in remembering them before the car leaves.

hey it wasn't difficult it just has a faulty wired switch on the dash that made the service 4wd light come on, hooked up scanner all is good.. and my mechanic said no worries unless it happens again and i hear it wine or act unusual.. evidently the dash switch is a common failure something with bad wiring in the switch module.. but GM said it is very common... all is good.. i have a new one on order now....
