The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Forgot to mention earlier-- On Sunday Kate and I skinned Patsy and got a late afternoon bc lap. We skinned up a chute on the front of patsy. Skinning was easy except for the shallow sun crust we encountered in a few places. The snow where we skinned was very good pretty deep pow I felt bad zigzagging it on skins.

A neat rock formation we saw. from the front the rock has a really unique vertical texture, and the rock was covered in red lichens which were neat

A scenic down canyon. Check out the silhouette of the American Fork Twins in the distance. from L to R: Sugarloaf ridge, twins, Baldy. pic is B and W, btw. I'm on the skinner down below

Superior and Dromedary were looking really neat with clouds blowing from the summit.

Skiing Rules gets a pow turn. The sky kind of looks blue, but its actually just some juicy dark storm clouds ready to dump. and we had sun shining on us. fkna!

me wondering why the CF's didn't come to UT

Me hoping the CF's are enjoying the corn and 50 degree temps at tahoe

Kate sampling the pow we found

not quite convinced

Now she's a believer!

I was always easily convinced though...

Yea, it was a good run

Hmm...

What's a run without a mellow drop into pow?

settin'er down

Kate Kruisin' the shadow pow with the drop in the background

I'll try to get some more very belated shady acres white pine action shots thrown in later

So much fun terrain out there...

You guys need to learn to take pictures from different angles to make your drops look bigger. ;)

Yet another tempting chute I really want to ski. Good thing EastCoaster is coming out soon...

Oh yes.. the drops are in a good succession here and each has a visible crest to show you where it is. Like this.

Great pow shots in the pics after as well... looks like a good day indeed.

pics and vids from today to come later, well maybe vids, I'll have to look at them. Today is in my mind the best day of the season. it snowed 17" last night, all of it is super light blower, the temps are in the mid teens, its not too windy, and its totally bluebird. Waay too many face shots to count today.

If you hate it now, just wait until you get old and you really can't see!
