The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

great reports, I missed out on the snow last week in CO; I really toyed w/ the idea of heading to SLC but then a good storm was forecast midway (didn't pan out much) Skiing rules keep on getting it!!



EC, I talked to a guy on the pass who just got back from Alaska --his brother had a heli drop wedding planned months ago (wow!) --he said conditions were the worst ever



I'd love to see one of EC's patented/color-coded Google Earth route maps of all you guys have hit

EC will post a more extensive TR of his exploits once the trip is over and the camera is done firing. Its not done firing. Kudos to EC for the amount of turns he has earned, he has been out touring like crazy and has covered a ton of terrain.

NOAA says ...



Today:Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.



Tonight: low around 17.Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.



Monday: High around 23. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 10 to 16 inches possible.





The next two days will not be bad skiing :D

How was the snow stability up there, EC? That looks like a sick shot, but it's a nice natural terrain trap with the way it funnels down, too. ;) (end armchair QB'ing now)

it was pretty good stability I'm guessing, they were skiing with backcountryBen from TGR and he has avy level 2 and is very avvy savvy
