We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

I'm gonna have to get you to show me around Alta (and parts of the Bird like Keyhole) when I'm up there- I know the obvious lines, but there have got to be a million little stashes that you can't know if you only spend a few days a year there.

Absolutely NUKING right now, has been non-stop since Saturday night. The storm total is about 40 inches. Maximum Interlodge has been in effect since 11 pm last night, we couldn't even serve breakfast in the dining room. Temp is 19 degrees and the snow dried out, I'm about to have the biggest day of my life. Town Of Alta and avvy control are going to reevaluate opening at 11 am. LOTS of bombing, the windows were rattling earlier. We can't even see the Eagles Nest from the dining room its snowing so hard.

I hope it opens today, but if not I'll just rest up since I have all day tomorrow off work... :D Its going to be life changing deep. I'll post some pics of the deck in a few minutes

Alta is incredible. It snows here like you wouldn't believe. We are already over 200" for the season with a 100" base, and its not even winter yet. WHAT???

Alta is lifting Interlodge and opening at 1pm. We were able to get out on the deck and check out the snow, absolute blower fluff, about 20 inches of it on top of increasingly dense snow from last night and yesterday, so today will be bottomless. I'm jonesin' bad!

WOW, today was by far the best day I've ever had on skis. The snow was absolutely blower, there were only a few turns where I DIDN'T get a faceshot. 20 inches of fluff on top of a smooth dense snow bed=stupid deep. Wildcat was insane. Everything was insane today. Pretty much speechless.
