twas a nice sleeper day today. Ski report showed an inch, but by the time I went out at 12 it was 6-8" deep and still snowing. Excellent density to bury the ice layer that doesn't want to go away, but still very fluffy. I skied the explosives today for the first real day I've had and they rock so far. They are very different than the bg's but they definitely have a place in the quiver. Eagles nest and west russ were good, somehow west rus wasn't even tracked, good for me since I had today off and slept in. Keyhole takes the cake for the day though, it was Untracked turns all the way to the traverse. I had a pretty epic yardsale in the keyhole today, I thought both skis were gone but they were somehow right next to each other in the snow. I tumbled through a small rock band over some gnar and barely missed a big tree, but everything turned out ok. It was kind of fun once I knew I missed the tree; I was just somersaulting through deep snow with a LOT of sluff. Tomorrow should be more of the same.

How do you like the BG's?
I've skied mine three days now, and I like them even more each day I'm on 'em. They're very confidence inspiring, and I think they make me ski more aggressively. In powder and chopped up soft snow, they absolutely rip- and they even do well on groomers too (IMO). They're my go-to ski for any day over 4", I think.

Today was pretty phenomenal. I went over to snowbird and out the gad 2 white pine gate. A quick but spicy bootpack puts you on top of the ridge just below the west twin of the American fork twins. The sky was dark blue and the skiing really couldn't have been better. We did 2 laps, each is about 3000' vert. The skiing was pretty mellow, just wide trees with meadows here and there, all completely untracked. The snow up top was cold and feathery, once we got down a little lower the snow was getting a little sun kissed, but still unbelievably creamy pow.
The BG's are incredible. I really can't imagine a better pow ski. they can charge with the flex they have and they are good landing drops. In the trees they can't be beat, and pow is super surfy and playful feeling.
I'll get pics up later

I'm thinking either Moment Bibby Pros or BG's for my next addition to the quiver. Both seem very similar. Can the BG's charge through crud pretty well?
