A weekend in an econolodge in Wilkes-Barre, PA. A boring city when you are stuck in a motel room on a side of town with nothing to do. There was a K-Mart and DOllar Tree across the street and a Taco Bell infront of the motel.
Taken at the Detroit Diesel garage, right before a mechanic stuck his arm into the engine and started throwing pieces out. Just glad she made it in under her own power.
not sure what a nissan 300zx has to do with chinese take out
motel room view
Walked around with an SLR and took a few photos but I got too much wedding work to do to worry about uploading anything right now.

Ha, I ended up not ordering anything from them, I figured my stomach would not be able to handle it. I hope to have something more "epic" later on but it will probably have to wait until I get done with training

Making the transition right now. I could spend hours explaining why I am leaving photography as a sole source of income but it all boils down to redundancy and lack of steady income. I hope to continue to do some paid work, especially portrait work with a few weddings a year. If I get to a point where it looks like I can maintain steady work year round with photography I may go back to doing it full time but for the for seeable future.

I wish! That was last weekend. I don't have a laptop (yet) or a smart phone (yet) though I can text to twitter and update FB statuses via twitter Thats about as advanced as I can get at the moment. Hopefully gonna get both right after the holidays.

Ahh, gotcha. What made you go into driving a truck as it's totally unrelated to a photo career.

My dad has been doing it for almost 40 years and my brother started a couple years ago and I saw what kind of financial gains it created for him and his wife. I have always enjoyed traveling and I do not do well with jobs where I have a boss/manager walking by every few minutes to check on me.

Gotcha. Yeah, I don't like a hovering boss either, that's why I work for myself also. I love it, but a lack of benefits stinks sometimes, but my busiest time of year is Oct-Feb.
