The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

I'll be there tomorrow sometime mid-morning

It was snowing lightly, maybe a little accumulation last night as some weather rolled in right at dark. Lots of blowing snow still. (A good thing in the basin) .Look for me Davidski I'll be here until about 1-2 PM .Warm up breaks in the TOW or shavers.

The sun was out in full effect today, it was really nice.Once you got off the top 50 yards of the hill and out of the wind scoured area by the top of ballhooter, ,the snow was perfect the rest of the way down.

I thing camp 99 might be my fav. run in the basin. A little haze in the air during First tracks

Slash

My buddy Jeff from the Outer Banks pretending he's on a wave at home

A little detour

Spotting a little pow pocket...

Until next time .Anyone heading up to SS in the next few days is really in for a treat. Looks like they are ready to open some more trails for the weekend, and the mountain is in really good shape!

Wow, great TR!

Last year when we went in Feb it was just as cold but we got more snow. It was easily -15F with wind chill and we were the only ones on the slopes. We had to do blacks since the greens and some blues weren't enough angle to get speed going. That was our first venture into black terrain. I love SS for that weekend, and I'm super jealous right now.
