That pic of the parking lot at Alpine is sweet....I was standing in that same spot today thinking it would make a good pic...glad you posted it. We finally had some sun today...truly epic day. And they'll definitely be skiing in July.

When the snowmelt occurs, paddling season out there is going to be insane.

^ Color me impressed. Awesome vid.

The kayak stuff looked fun- ever consider a split tail/finned ocean surfing boat for the ocean stuff?

And how do you get such steady & stable footage? and vibration reduction software at work?

take a look around 3:26...the Necky playboat I'm in has a split tail....and that's Lake Tahoe I'm surfing in...not the ocean...it feels and looks a lot like the Carolina coast however.

The pole mount footage is stabilized by my arm being held still and the fact that its on a pole. Physics I guess.

Its going to be really hard to come back to NC in a few weeks. Trying to make the most of it while I'm here.

Lake Tahoe... I should've figured that one out on my own. *faceplam* Duh, Zeus.

Cudos for being able to keep your arm that still while skiing- I know I could never do that.

So I was enjoying a beverage at the bar at Alpine Meadows and Mike Wilson is hanging with a friend of mine who coaches the freeride team. Somebody had a computer around and we proceed to share stories and pics. I show him my 25 ft. backflip off a deck and he shows me his 100 ft. quadruple backflip into the Truckee River and Lake Tahoe. His newest thing....swinging off the tram wire at Squaw Valley into a base jump.

Nice guy. Amazing athlete and he gave me props on my backflip! Me, second on right, Mike on my right at the "ugly sweater" party for Alpine Meadows employees. Gotta love all the goggle tans.
