The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

http://blog.skialpine.com/2011/03/24/al ... g-one/This is ridiculous people....coming from Banner Elk I am blown away by this weather. Words do not describe how much snow has and is falling currently.

With four weeks left in Tahoe I'm enjoying every second of it. I demoed the 2012 Volkl Kuro and Shiro in 30 inches at Alpine on Tuesday. I fell in love with skiing all over again. Truly amazing tools. :>)

I am in south lake right now. They are expecting 2-4 more feet before tomorrow morning. I have never seen this much snow in my life. They have a 25 foot tall wind fence at the heavenly summit, only the top rail is visible.

The POV's on page 2 are def. HOF material. You look like you are having a blast. Tear it up for us East Coasters that are having to tune up our lawn mowers.

1 vote for HOF.

March 25th 2011. I filmed all of this today from Kings Beach, Alpine and Squaw. Alpine was shut down. Squaw had 45 inches in 24 hours. The snow was light and deep. So much fun. We've had 240 inches in March alone! We should break the 800 inch march at Alpine very soon....crazy!
