I was riding at Cat last night and the two park employees working were pulling all of the features out the snow right before closing time. Around 8:15 this morning I was watching the webcam and the snowcat was mowing down all of the mounds of snow! The jump line in the upper park got mowed down I think last week which was a bummer. Has anybody heard whats going on??

I was planning on going to Cat on Saturday. I guess I'll be going somewhere else now. That's a bummer.

if the terrain park is gone, there is a good lip on the left side up Rock Island Way just below Upper Omigosh.
You dip down off the side of the slope toward the trees by Alley cat and then pop back up into the trail.
Other than that you can jump off the lip at the top of Omigosh and Alleycat, not much else for actual jumps besides the terrain parks.

Thanks the Hawksnest way. Actually way back in the day that's what we did at Beech. If we wanted a jump we had to build it. Kinda fun actually. Pay $50+ for a lift ticket. Spend a couple hours building a jump. Then hike the "park".
