The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Met up with Skywriter and Skipink at Beech. They got good runs first thing but it slushed up early. Piles of fresh snow turned into glue. Blue skies were great for spectating the pond skim and enjoying the Harris Brothers play on the View Haus deck.

Nice marz... hate that the skimming was muffed. Wish you had pics of Jam's attempt... or was there one? I haven't asked him directly. Did others from the board give it a shot?

I made it out there that afternoon and yes it was warm and slushy,hard to ski in!Despite the temps in the 50s,saw several snowboard kids w/bandanas covering thier faces,couldn't of been because they were cold!

Last year a guy flipped upon exiting the pond and landed on his neck. Luckily, he got up and skied away. Any of that this year?
