Great spring conditions on the snow today.Started out firm but never icy, and gradually softened up. Sunny ,light winds.30 degrees at first tracks high of about 40 .My snowboarder friends coming up for the summit be on the lookout for little ramps/hips along the edges of the snow and where the trails merge they are fun to air off.(I recommend a spotter over the weekend at these intersections) there's a real sweet one dropping into lower ballhooter rider's left..

Looks like I got a little clip in Snowshoe's weekly video at 31 seconds. Thanks guys.!

Couple Pic's

Widowmaker at 9 AM

Butter boxes and booter's

I'm not a park rat by any means but those butter boxes were fun to play around on for a bit

Jibs

A little firm at first , but once the sun got on lower shay's for an hour or so it had some sweet corn + was ideal for bombing..

The NW wind blowing on Cup helped keep its corn surface ripe + was fun for carving

The snow in the basin had the mashed potato look to it in high traffic areas by early afternoon.BUT..

I think the best snow surface of the day was a short bus ride away just after lunch..

Yum..

Still not writing winter off yet ..Still a consolidated base in the shade in certain areas .. but in no way, shape,or form is this edgeable .Couldn't hardly walk in there..Boilerplate.

It will probably stay that way for a while. The big boy park doesn't get alot of traffic. Mostly the smaller parks.
