i still had a few of the 1/2 price tickets i scored earlier in the yr, so we made the trip up to ober on sunday for some final runs on their closing day. used all the tickets except 3 and paid those forward to a few ppl in line. the rain and flooding from yesterday had me worried about the slope conditions, but as we got closer to ober the trees were covered with snow.....a great sign. good spring conditions today for obers last hoorah.

That bit of closing day snow must have been a nice little treat. I wish spring hadn't come so hard and fast. I was there the weekend of 3/12/10 last year and they still had everything open and went all the way to 3/28/10.

Fun little mtn.

Glad you make it up. I tried to ski there several weeks ago and it was way too slushy to do anything with. We still had 2 - ½ price lift tickets but with all the rain I figured the snow would have been washed away.

Think we can get some Ober locals together next year for a Hillbilly summit?

I'm in as long as Dave has a leash on his kayak.

How about an Ober season pass roll call? My wife and I are getting passes next year and skiing Ober exclusively with the possible exception of a SkiNC summit and a trip to CO.
