Couldn't resist another night session at App. It was fun. Slushier than I was expecting. It started to snow a little throughout the night, fairly hard at times. It was really wet though and it wasn't sticking. I wonder if they will make snow tonight...

Video of a line through AppalJam/Candied. It was pretty fun. The jump was roped off and I'm betting it's the one they will use for the big air comp on Saturday. It is a beast. The knuckle is a jump in itself.

Here's the one pic I took in AppalJack. You can just barely see the snow falling. I'd just like to take this time now to go ahead and congratulate myself for having the photo of the day tomorrow haha.

that jump is closed because for one it is stupid and 2 its dangerous. The landing is waaaaaaaaay to short for how big the take off is. I dont know what happened to app this year but their jumps as a whole have been lacking big time.

Yeah unless you get the speed EXACTLY right ur either casing it or landing flat. Either way would mess you up pretty good. It's in a really weird location too.

I hit it once. Went a little far, but not all the way into flat. I think it would be really nice with a longer landing.

exactly. App used to always have their jumps dialed. Something changed this year, now all of the landings have either been super flat, or really short. The best one of the year hands down was the slopestyle jump. They need to get it together for next year. Landings are supp to be really long and somewhat steep. I dont know why they changed their thinking.

It is looking rough out there, props to APP for maintaining over this long thaw... Looking forward to being back out there next season on opening day.
