We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Myself and a buddy went and rode a little yesterday. Small hit at the start everything else is more or less typical SE singletrack nothing too crazy. Camera angle was definitely too far down at first but that was my first time bikin' with the gopro so whatever.

man I wish you had footage from that pow day when we skied together. (Random I know but i saw the vid on the youtube page) That was a fun day. I remember landing the field goal air under supreme and thinking i had set it down in a soft mogul field. That was some grade A chunder! Then we got safe in Catherine's area pow trees with kristin haha those are some good memories.

Yeh, that would have been some schweet video. I would have had a fast-forward clip of you and kristin leaving me on the way to the apron too lol.

yea I'm sorry about that. I still feel bad. acclimatization is a real bi*ch. That was a pretty crazy day there was a decent crew that came together from the rustler and gmd with people that had skied 75+ days on the season. A quick pace is the name of the game. I really wanted you to straightline elevator chute but I think you dropped below the traverse into that flat section in the castle.

Dude no worries, I woulda left your a*s if I could've ;) And as far as elevator chute goes, there's always next year. Speaking of next year I may not be able to keep up but I'm gonna be in way better shape than I was last year. I've been biking 3-4 days a week and running 1-2 plus working out 3 days a week. This week has been about 50-60 miles mtb and about 8-10 running. I plan on getting my mtb to about 80 (6 days a week) miles a week and dropping the running down to about 4-5 miles a week. Either way I wanna be able to breathe next time lol.

yep even if you are in decent shape you'll still get left behind by people that have been living at 8600' and hiking and skiing everyday up to 11000' for the previous 3 and a half months. I was in good shape when I went out there but still got my a$$ kicked for the first month or so. The alpine boots also gave me an advantage on that apron hike. that hike looks short and quick, but once you actually get on it after side stepping 1/2 mile its a lot more painful than expected.
