The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

this is going to be lame, so unless you're bored or have a soft spot in your heart for dogs and asphalt, just move on to the next thread...since the site is dead i figured i'd at least throw up a few things to look at just for some new content...

1.) my dog gnarls does not like to swim, but i figured maybe some bathtub warm water, sunshine, and the company of one of his favorite puppy friends would change his mind. dad desperately wants him to be a water dog since dad enjoys so many activities in the water, but gnarls enjoys 4 paws on the solid earth at all times. he can actually swim quite well, but he HATES it. a few of my buddies with new pups bought a bunch of ridiculous bandanas and decided that the initiation into the bandana dog gang would be a launch off the lake raleigh dock, therefore yesterday was gnarls' turn to earn his stripes...

2.) today i went to skate a pretty fun little bank in a walmart parking lot by the house and snapped some shots of the bank for those with concrete wave minds to enjoy. the setup is near perfect as far as natural banks go if it werent for the fact that the asphalt surrounding the bank and the lips between the concrete bank and the asphalt are extreeemely sketchy so its really only fit for boards with biggish wheels (i.e. leave the popsickle deck at home unfortunately:(). my skateboard quiver is currently a little slim although i have a new board in the works so i skated the bank with my flexdex 30 and lime bigzigs today; not the optimal setup since it has a very small wheelbase and is super flexy, but fun nonetheless. can't wait to get back to skating this thing on a longer board! anyways, the bank itself is really long and actually has a slight downhill slope which works nicely for pumping all the way down it. the pitch of the bank ranges from quite mellow to pretty gnarly and there are two built in obstacles (and shopping carts) that if youre feeling bold you can shoot above with little room for error between you, a curb, 4 lanes of busy traffic, and other fun hazards. on to the pics!

the session took an interesting turn when a rando guy approached me about his new clothing line and asked me if i would shoot a quick skate edit in exchange for some new threads...i took down his info and will hopefully soon be rocking some free nyla elise clothing:D

We didn't get many pics, we were filming. Not much going on here except looking down the line ,but it shows that were some solid sets coming in and fantastic lighting.

sorry about that and glad she's fine -- but think of all the bonding time; bright side, eh?
