Definitely a beautiful place to just cruise around. That potential climb you mention should be a winner.

dude. Dude. DUDE. SO AWESOME. Makes me want to go back sooooo badly. Let me know when you want to stage that Denali expedition- maybe we can train on some OR/WA volcanoes and I can join you...

Great, great pics. So cool that you got a sunny day to see Denali- I'm guessing the pics don't even come close to capturing it. 100% yes on not taking a cruise the next time- the hiking there will blow your mind.

Ok, your trip has inspired me to email buddy in Anchorage. AK trip that got postponed because of **** snow last year needs to happen.

As far as training goes, next on the list is Shasta, then Ranier. After that as many 14ers as I can. I'll let you know when that goes down. Always looking for more climbers.

And yeah, Denali is unbelievable. We were told that only 30% of the people who come to see it actually get a chance to- so to see it for several days straight was mighty lucky.

Really stunning Zeus; great photography, to many for me to isolate one.

There is a book you should read on the tail of that trip; you will really enjoy it -- WinterDance by Gary Paulson (?) he's a famous young adult author but this is a recounting of his running the Iditarod
