The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Wow, wow, wow. That end of the day panoramic is $$$. Beech should use that in their brochure.

Nice pics. I was there as well. I did not see any pics of the doo doo brown snow on Robbins Run and the cut across to Southern Star. Those slopes are beat up bad - I would only run those if I had rental skis. Upper Shawnee was starting to turn brown in areas as well when I left at 2 PM as I was tired of getting almost ran over by Floridiots.

I don't think Saturday will be very good skiing/boarding with the conditions deteriorating throughout today

There is no perspective when slopes are missing snow -it is just reporting it the way it is.

I, as well as plenty others, read trip reports as a way of making a decision to drive the 2-4 hours each way and spend the money.

I enjoy looking at pics and reading some stories, but I also like to know the true conditions since resorts won't tell you the truth.
