Headed up early. Got first tracks. Me being a goof ball and the day being FF appreciation day, I decided to ski in my bunker pants and fire helmet. A bunch of guys I work with were there and they got a kick out of it. You can see it in my shadow in some of the vids.

It rained last night a little I think. They snow is very soft and very slushy. It warmed up and it got slushier, mash potatoes like consistency.

Upper OMG has some big bumps going down skiers right.

Upper Snowbird had bumps that went across the entire run, kind of like speed bumps.

I bailed about 230 to head home. Then decided I wanted a sandwich and discovered the subshop had wifi.....

56 degrees in the valley, tshirt skiing weather

Cats base first thing in the morning....

Somewhere out there is I-40

Rock Island was looking good

Alley Cat was fun too. I had a great wipeout. It's not the one at the end of the vid. I wish I'd recorded it. i was flying, caught an edge and went head over heels. Keep in mind I had my fire pants and helmet on for added foolery....

Upper OMG looking down

If you were so inclined, you could watch the entire season wash away....

I got a wipeout on film at the end....

@ Roy

the way I pick a song is this: Edit video. Sort my mp3 collection for length and pick a song that's within 1 or 2 seconds in length from the length of the video. Then I mute the vid volume so you cant hear me mouth breathing the whole way down. If MS Queen comes up as an appropriately lenghted song, Ill use it.

Also....it was very windy today. A pine tree on Alley cat snapped about 3/4 of the way of the tree but they were quick to remove the debris from the run. You can see evidence of the wind in the vid anytime I turned onto turkey trot...I go from flying to a crawl and it's all due to wind gusts

Nice video. Looks like everything except Upper Snowbird was in pretty good shape.
