two questions -- how long was the drive from Denver

also, not that it mattered on a day like that, but have you ever done any BC around Monarch?

edit: I'll leave the question general

It was a little less than three hours from Denver. On the way back it was faster- the roads were dry and the weather was perfect.

I haven't done any BC stuff around Monarch, but there is some SWEET looking terrain. If it weren't that far from my house, I'd probably go there pretty frequently.

Liftopia often times will run deals on lifties to Monarch for $12.

^^^ Yep, we ran into two guys who had the buy-one-get-one-free vouchers, so we paid a whopping $28. :)

If anyone's ever in the area and has a little extra to spend, I'd HIGHLY recommend their cat skiing. It's like $225/day and the terrain back there looks sick.

Cooper did cat skiing too and it looked amazing. They needed more snow in the cat areas though.
