The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Jason, Brian and I hit Buffalo Creek yesterday- despite all the cars in the parking lot (almost all of which had a Yeti on top), the place seemed virtually deserted. This trail network just southwest of Denver is worth the trip out here by itself- the riding is absolutely epic. With wheels down before 9:00, it was nice and cool for virtually the entire ride. We ended up doing about 25 miles, around 3k vert of climbing. Here are a few pictures from when we managed to stop for a minute or two.

Jason likes to make the climbs tougher by riding a wheelie the whole way up:

Finally at the "top" of Shinglemill, we head down the CO Trail:

Stopping here and there to play on the giant boulders. Jason drops it like it's hot with Brian waiting for the carnage:

If only this picture had audio.... because Jason was absolutely hauling a$$ when he went by me:

Brian on Sandy Wash:

Jason on Sandy Wash in the same area:

See you at the car:

The 'scape is crazy there...was there fire destruction in that area, or some infestation, or whatnot? Some of the partial trunks look like fire aftermath...just wild.

Yep, there was a huge wildfire back in '03 that destroyed 150,000+ acres.
