Loveland reported 10" yesterday morning, so I called in sick and went up with Jason for a few hours in the morning. Pretty decent conditions, with 6-12" on top of a hard crust... as long as you skied fast, it was super fun. The best snow was up on the Ridge with face shots galore, but it was too damn cold up there to stop for pictures. Here are a few off Chair 4:

The liftie said Chair 9 opened late because the wind chill was below -40 for the first hour of operation. I believe it.

Meh, 35 degrees is balmy. I think my mountain biking temp low this winter was in the upper 20's. As long as it's sunny and not snowing too hard, I'll ride any time.

Funny you say that. I haven't skied with Jason much in the last few years (although we go mountain biking together all the time), and I had to give him a little lesson on how to "ski for the camera" with those conditions. He's a good skier, but he doesn't get how to make turns in certain spots and milk it. He started to get it by the time we left, but it's not quite as easy as it looks sometimes.
