The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Gaskier - yep,, I drove through and stopped in-town in Silverton...talk about a blast from the past! Was going to hit the brewery but when I went the town was kinda' shut down (out of season). I didn't drive out to the mountain since I was headed up to Telluride specifically. Can't believe i have 4 places within 2 hours of me...Wolf Creek is an amazing targeted goal from what I've been told.



mtb -- Job starts on Jan 7th. I should be hitting town on the 3rd and with all luck the movers will be there on the 3rd as well. Spending a few days that weekend trying to get settled in.

K if all works out the organization I work with sez I'm prob going to Arizona this spring and if all this comes to pass I plan on hitting the sw corner of the state again.Silverton Mt will definitely be on my list.The rest of my free time before work commences I hope to bring my new wife out and show her real skiing ( no offense to any hard core Carolina ski area fans)a.nd hopefully the Grand Canyon.

All that said if that happens I'll try to look you up and maybe get a few runs in somewhere

The San Juans are beautiful and Id give some body parts to live in Silverton
